Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress on Spanish films and television. She was an actress in Stockholm as well the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid around 1989. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for more than 30 years, and also a conductor of orchestras. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is also a painter and musician. Her first piano lesson was at the age of four. Ballet was her first love shortly after. She had a most trusted friend who could speak English which taught her to speak the English language. Following the completion of the high school curriculum, she enrolled herself in the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico which is located situated in Madrid and studied interpretation until her third year specializing in the interpretation of texts, however she dropped out in 2010, after being selected for the role in Planes para manana. Her performance earned her recognition with the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as an Goya Awards nomination in the top breakthrough actress category, among other nominations.
