Keesha Sharp

The actress can be seen in Tyler Perry's smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Alongside Perry and Janet Jackson, as well as in the coming independent productions Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. Her other film credits are The 636 (for which she was awarded the title of Best Actress at the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha chose to go into theatre after graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelor in Fine Arts. She was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. The other theatre productions include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha's work includes directing episodes from "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha has several projects that she's working on which include Clean The Brit & Broken Doll.
